Global Technologies Racing, a company with a 30+ year legacy of engineering expertise, announced on 14 September it has refreshed its brand under the new banner of GTR Composites Group, better expressing its identity and group brand structure. It will be exhibiting in its fresh guise at DVD 2026 at Millbrook this week.
With a strapline ‘blending the art of precision with the science of composites to deliver innovation, excellence and quality’, GTR’s new image better suits its successful evolution into a specialist composite engineering and manufacturing business, serving customers in defence, aerospace and other technically demanding markets in addition to its automotive industry legacy. A new website reveals GTR Defence & Aerospace as the sub-brand in which the group’s defence-oriented expertise will reside.
From composites manufacturing for motorsport, the company has expanded into new markets through significant investment in people, technology, equipment and process, developing capabilities that lend themselves to demanding high-performance applications, including engine components, medical and marine domains as well as the military.
“Whilst our heritage will always be an important part of who we are, this refreshed brand represents where GTR Composites Group is going next. We have spent more than 30 years developing skills and technologies in some of the most demanding engineering environments in the world, and we now want to make sure customers across a much wider range of sectors understand what we can bring to their challenges,” commented company Director and C-founder, Simon Kingdon-Butcher.
