MS Detection rolls out further critical infrastructure protection

C4ISR and cyberNewsSecurity

MS Detection, the homeland security and defence division of MS Tech Ltd, announced on 2 November it has completed multiple deliveries and installations of its EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN and THREATSCAN explosives and narcotics detection systems at critical infrastructure sites across the United States and Southeast Asia.

Growing security challenges and increasing requirements to protect critical infrastructure are driving demand for advanced explosives trace detection systems in oil and gas refineries and other multi-national high-security facilities. MS Tech also continues to deploy its explosive detection sensors and IOT solutions in the air transport, law enforcement and border control domains. In addition to the flagship products identified above, LIQUISCAN is a liquid explosives detector that makes use of the innovative, patented High-Frequency Quartz Crystal Microbalance (HF-QCM) nanotechnology sensors developed by MS Tech Ltd. They feature self-calibrating and self-cleaning capabilities, with the highest levels of sensitivity and operational availability. HF-QCM sensors are non-radioactive, providing a completely green, safe working environment.

“These latest deployments reflect the growing demand for reliable, high-performance explosives detection technologies at critical infrastructure sites,” explained MS Tech CEO, Doron Shalom. “Our HF-QCM sensor technologies enable customers to strengthen security screening while improving operational efficiency. We are also seeing increasing interest in replacing legacy radioactive detection systems with our non-radioactive explosive trace detection solutions.”
